I would like to begin by giving you a peek into my background. I graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Interior Design and Applied Arts. At that time I joined the design firm of David Russ & Company. I found this to be a most rewarding career and provided me with an excellent background for my transition into Real Estate.

I still maintain my credentials and license as an Interior Designer and I offer this experience and talent along with the extensive marketing folio that we provide at Compass Real Estate.

We are all too familiar with the axiom of location, location. Granted this is pivotal in the decision making process that a prospective buyer takes into consideration. Beyond that, and of course intelligent competitive pricing and effective advertising, there is the Sizzle Factor.

It is essential in this very competitive market that your home is staged in a manner that will captivate prospective buyers. Obviously this does not necessarily mean that there has to be great expenditure dressing your home for presentation. In most cases I have found that a certain attention to detail or rearrangement can achieve remarkable results.
